Emmaus High School names student of the week

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A. I am currently a 12th grader at Emmaus High School.

Q. Please provide the first names of your family members: parents, siblings and pets.

A. My parents names are Santhosh and Priya. My sister’s name is Stephy and my brother’s name is Sam.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is math. I love working through problems and coming out with only one correct answer.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I am a member of National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?

A. I am a part of Key Club and the Boy Scouts of America. I also play football and basketball. Being involved in these organizations has helped me develop qualities such as leadership and service.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. Trying to focus, study and complete homework at a high level during the COVID-19 school year were my biggest challenges.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. I want to attend college to study medicine and ultimately become a doctor.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. I admire both my parents because they gave up a comfortable life to come here for my sake. They gave up their own families so I could have a good life and better education.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered for always being a helping hand and showing kindness to anyone and everyone.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Focusing for just four years of high school can you get a dream job or into a dream school, so if you weren’t before, at least in high school, be at your best.
