Update for parents/guardians: You should have received a letter this summer reminding you to go online and update your child’s information. This will include all phone numbers, emergency contacts and numbers, email addresses, text numbers and permission for field trips and photos for the 2022-23 school year.

Please read the information carefully and update it if necessary.

Parents are able to utilize the PowerSchool parent portal to access student information such as grades and attendance. Single sign-on access allows parents to have one PowerSchool parent portal account for all of their children in one place using their individual access ID and access password.

If you move out of the district, notify the school, if you have not done so already. It is important so transfer papers can be given to parents for enrollment in your child’s new school. If you move within WCSD, you must provide a new proof of residency to the registrar at the transportation building.

If you are changing bus stops for the 2022-23 school year, you should have notified the bus transportation office at 610-437-4780 of any bus changes. The deadline was July 8.

In an effort to keep parents and students more informed about Whitehall-Coplay Middle School, the school has established social media sites for the public to follow. WCMS will be posting to Facebook at facebook.com/wcmszephyrs, Twitter at twitter.com/WCMSZephyrs and Instagram at instagram.com/wcmszephyrs.

If you like to search hashtags, check out two WCMS will be using to help people find them - #zephyrtough and #webelongatwhitehall.

Stay in touch with upcoming news and emails from your child’s school. Many of the schools can be followed through the district website, whitehallcoplay.org, and social media.

Reminder for parent/guardian pickup procedures for elementary is as follows: Student dismissal for pickup will begin 3 p.m. Parents/guardians should arrive no earlier than 2:30 p.m. and no later than 3:20 p.m. A note must be sent to your child’s teacher each day he or she will be picked up at dismissal. Parents/guardians who intend to follow this process indefinitely should send a note saying his or her child is a yearly pickup and obtain a numbered car tag.

Follow the posted signs, which will guide you to the parent/guardian pickup area.
