Students named to dean’s list
The following local residents have been named to the dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2022 semester. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean’s list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of incomplete, D or F; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Kutztown University
Students receive diplomas
Kutztown University has conferred degrees for more than 1,070 students for the 2022 spring semester. Kutztown University announces degree conferment twice a year, once in the winter and once in the summer. Commencement exercises are held in May and December; however, students finish the requirements for graduation throughout the entire year. The cumulative GPA necessary for honors distinction is with honor, cum laude, 3.40; with high honor, magna cum laude, 3.60; and with highest honor, summa cum laude, 3.80. Students who have requested privacy (FERPA) are not listed publicly.

Montclair State University
Sturtevant named to dean’s list
Oswald Sturtevant, of Whitehall, was named to Montclair State University’s spring 2022 dean’s list. Sturtevant is an undeclared major. Sturtevant was among almost 6,000 students named to the dean’s list. To qualify, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher.
Montclair State University is a research doctoral institution ranked in the top tier of national universities. Dietz named to dean’s list
Kean University congratulates Morgan Dietz, of Whitehall, for making the spring 2022 dean’s list. Dietz is a senior majoring in psychology and among more than 2,500 students to achieve this honor.
