The first day of classes for Catasauqua Area School District students is Aug. 29.

Face coverings/masks will be optional for all students and staff in the building and on school transportation.

Students will follow hand-washing and respiratory etiquette, and classrooms will be disinfected, sanitized and maintained.

School will be closed Sept. 2-5 for the Labor Day holiday.

Classes resume Sept. 6.

The Scholastic book fair will be at Catasauqua Middle School Sept. 6-9.

Meet the teacher night will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

Picture day for CMS students is set for Sept. 9.
