Aggravated assault

Cynthia Mugica, 38, of Barto, was charged July 28 with alleged aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, according to Salisbury police. Mugica was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Simple assault

Joseph Lee Peters, 30, of Wescosville, was charged July 27 with alleged simple assault and harassment following an incident at the front entrance to Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest, according to Salisbury police. Peters was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Scam

A resident of the 700 block of East Federal Street was asked to buy gift cards and send the card numbers in to have her computer fixed, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 22 and is under investigation.

Warrant arrest

A 55-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was taken into custody July 28 on an arrest warrant, according to Salisbury police. He was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Theft from vehicle

A purse, backpack, credit card and cash were removed from a vehicle parked in the 700 block of East Barner Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 20 and is under investigation.

A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of South Albert Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 29 and is under investigation.

A license plate from a camper was removed while parked in the 2900 block of Edgemont Drive, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 26.
