Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

JULY 21

Traffic stops were conducted in the 2000, 2100 and 2300 blocks of Main Street, the 1500 block of Poplar Street, at Ninth and Main streets, in the 300 block of Howertown Road, in the unit block of West 21st Street, at East Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue, at East 21st Street and Hokendauqua Avenue and at West 17th Street and Newport Avenue.

Criminal mischief - a legally parked vehicle was keyed - in the 2300 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2500 block of Cherryville Road and on a male in the 1000 block of Main Street.

A littering complaint - a computer left on private property - in the 2000 block of Main Street had police investigating.

In the 2100 block of Washington Avenue, a civil issue was addressed.

A disturbance in the 1600 block of Washington Avenue was reported.

JULY 22

A report of a suspicious male in the 1000 block of Main Street was filed with the department.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 900 block of Main Street, at East Fourth Street and Howertown Road and in the 500 block of East 10th Street.

A suspected DUI in the unit block of West 21st Street had police at the scene.

Officers checked on the welfare of a female in the 2100 block of Canal Street.

Police assisted a female in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

JULY 23

Traffic stops were conducted at East Fourth and Main streets, in the 300, 900 and 1000 blocks of Main Street, at Laubach Avenue and East 20th Street and at Canal and West 14th streets.

A domestic dispute between a male and a female occurred in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue.

Officers addressed a loud music complaint in the 1900 block of Canal Street.

Police checked on the welfare of a male at West Ninth and Main streets.

At Main Street and Cherryville Road, police responded to a complaint of fireworks.

JULY 24

A disturbance in the 1700 block of Canal Street was reported.

Traffic stops were conducted in the 1200 and 1800 blocks of Newport Avenue, at West Ninth and Main streets, in the 1000 block of Main Street, the 1700 block of Laubach Avenue and at Newport Avenue and Lumber Street.

Officers assisted a female in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

Criminal mischief - a concrete slab with a painting of a cat on it taken from a residence and smashed - in the 1200 block of Main Street was reported.

Police checked the area at Canal and West 14th streets and the Canal Street boat launch.

Suspicious males in the 100 block of West 28th Street and the 300 block of East 10th Street were reported.

JULY 25

Police assisted females in the 1000 block of Main Street, the 100 block of Michael Court and the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue and a male in the 1400 block of Laubach Avenue.

A traffic stop was conducted at Main and West 17th streets.
