Moore Township supervisors consider new municipal building
At the Moore Township Board of Supervisors meeting Aug. 2, township Manager Nicholas C. Steiner said he plans to meet with Redevelopment Assistance Capital Project representatives to discuss funding opportunities to either remodel or replace the municipal building.
A major renovation or a complete replacement of the building has been discussed the past several months. Steiner noted he thinks a replacement is warranted because a renovation of the building will be costly.
His believes constructing a new building will allow township leaders to fashion a building that fully meets the township’s needs. The decision to renovate or build a new building will be made by the board of supervisors.
