Ithaca College

Cappolella, Ninos graduate

Ithaca College congratulates all May 2022 graduates, including Olivia Cappolella, who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English, and Logan Ninos, who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training. Both are from Northampton.

Founded in 1892, Ithaca College is a residential college dedicated to building knowledge and confidence through a continuous cycle of theory, practice and performance. Home to some 5,200 students, the college offers more than 90 degree programs in its schools of business, communications, humanities and sciences, health sciences and human performance and music, theater and dance.

Georgia Institute of Technology

Yalamarti named to dean’s list

Suhas Yalamarti, of Bath, made the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester at Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

Georgia Institute of Technology, or Georgia Tech, is a Top 10 public research university developing leaders who advance technology and improve the human condition. The institute offers business, computing, design, engineering, liberal arts and sciences degrees.

Its nearly 44,000 students, representing 50 states and 149 countries, study at the main campus in Atlanta, at campuses in France and China and through distance and online learning. As a leading technological university, Georgia Tech is an engine of economic development for Georgia, the southeast and the nation, conducting more than $1 billion in research annually for government, industry and society.

Rochester Institute of Technology

Pagliaro graduates

Michael Pagliaro, of Bath, graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in computer science.

Some 4,300 degrees were conferred in the 2021-22 academic year at all of RIT’s campuses. RIT’s 137th academic convocation celebration was held in May and featured remarks by Kimberly Bryant, founder of the nonprofit organization Black Girls CODE.

RIT is home to leading creators, entrepreneurs, innovators and researchers. Founded in 1829, RIT enrolls about 19,700 students in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs, making it among the largest private universities in the U.S. The university is internationally recognized and ranked for academic leadership in business, computing, engineering, imaging science, liberal arts, sustainability and fine and applied arts. RIT also offers unparalleled support services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The cooperative education program is one of the oldest and largest in the nation. Global partnerships include campuses in China, Croatia, Dubai and Kosovo.

Lehigh University

Students graduate

During commencement ceremonies in May, Lehigh University conferred 1,092 bachelor’s degrees, 394 master’s degrees and 33 doctoral degrees. Of the more than 1,500 graduates, degree recipients came from 41 states and 42 countries outside of the United States.

Students graduate

On May 22, more than 500 members of Muhlenberg’s Class of 2022, along with their families, their friends and Muhlenberg faculty, gathered in Allentown’s PPL Center to celebrate the college’s 174th commencement.

Dean’s list is announced

Widener University congratulates students who achieved dean’s list status during the spring 2022 semester. The dean’s list recognizes full-time students who earned a grade-point average of 3.5 and above for the semester.

Nearly 750 students petitioned to graduate at the end of the spring 2022 semester, and three commencement ceremonies were held May 13-14 at the Community Arts Center. Penn College is a special mission affiliate of Pennsylvania State University.
