Campers learn value of kindness
Summer campers at Chesterbrook Academy Preschools, High Point and Emrick boulevards campuses, worked together to raise more than $1,200 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and create 39 wellness bags for Lehigh Valley Children’s Hospital, organizations that both aid children fighting cancer.
The wellness bags included activity books, markers, colored pencils, drawing books, puzzles, playdough and more to help brighten cancer patients’ days. Through these initiatives, campers learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping those in need.
