Peggy Ann Freeman, 89, from South Whitehall Township, died July 21, 2022, at home.
The wife of Gene Freeman for the past 41 years, she was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence L. Lurwick.
She was the daughter of the late Harry and Edith Dull.
A graduate of Pottsville High School, she was a phlebotomist for many years.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, South Whitehall, where she was a regular volunteer and attended Bible Study.
An active member of the Red Hats, she loved book club and volunteered at the soup kitchen and Meals on Wheels.
In addition to her husband, she will be missed dearly by her son, Larry (Patty); daughter Anne (John), and beloved grandchildren Samantha and Tim.
She was blessed with an extended family including two brothers-in-law, Tony and Tommy; stepchildren Regina, Mark and Jonathan; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and with a tremendous group of caregivers Pam, Kya, Kiki, Carol, Yassie and Raquel.
She lived life to its fullest and truly brought joy to all she met. She will be greatly missed by all.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. A celebration of her life will be held at a later time.
