Northampton Community College will hold a free virtual Phlebotomy Technician information session, 6 p.m. Aug. 23.

NCC’s Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students for the national certification exam.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, “employment of phlebotomists is projected to grow 22 percent from 2020 to 2030.”

Hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, blood donor centers, and other locations will need phlebotomists to perform bloodwork.
