Whitehall-Coplay School Board OKs transfers, appointments
At the July 25 Whitehall-Coplay School Board meeting, members approved transfers, including Wendy Weeast, from attendance secretary to principal’s secretary at Whitehall High School, at $38,472 per year, replacing Jerica Hart, who resigned; Stacy Pisano, from paraprofessional at Whitehall-Coplay Middle School to food service worker, with an hourly rate as per the CBA; and Demi Rohlfing to temporary special education facilitator kindergarten-grade 12, a new position paid for through ESSER funding, at her current salary, plus a $500-per-month stipend.
New appointments include Denise Ritter, coordinator of data information, at $46,125 per year, replacing Megan Tonno, who resigned; Jessica Betancourt, Bethanee Houser, Farha Farraj, Randa Chaer, Sheila Fox-Gensemer and Charlotte Amo-Mensah, part-time food service workers, with an hourly rate as per the CBA, in order to fully staff the department to pre-COVID levels; Kristina Younes, part-time library secretary at WCMS, at $19.23 per hour, replacing Madeline Wolfe, who resigned; Luizaida Bonilla, part-time ESL paraprofessional at WHS, at $19.23 per hour; Olivia Bobyak, part-time special education paraprofessional at WCMS, at $20.42 per hour, replacing Tiffany Roth, who resigned.
