Marvin Zuck Myer, 100, of Fellowship Community, Whitehall, died Aug. 7, 2022, at Fellowship Terrace. He was the husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Witmer) Myer for 72 years.
Born in Leola, he was a son of the late David W. and Cora E. (Zuck) Myer.
He was in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a statistical analyst at PPL Electric for 36 years. He was an evening administrator for Penn State, Lehigh Valley campus. He retired in 1987.
He was a member of the Allentown Lions Club and received the club’s Melvin Jones award. He volunteered for Westminster Village, Allentown, and Habitat for Humanity.
He is survived by a son, Karl E. of Allentown; three daughters, Elaine J. and her husband Edward Martin of Bethlehem, Louise M. and her husband Glen Kleckner of Allentown and Dawn E. and her husband Dennis Moyer of Coplay; son-in-law, Nolan Noecker of Wyomissing; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara A.; and two brothers, Clyde and Lloyd.
There will be a calling hour 9:30 a.m., followed by services 10:30 a.m., both Aug. 11 at Fellowship Community’s Zentz Community Center, 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall.
