We have a virus in our midst,

And everyone is scared!

We are advised to stay inside,

And, simply be aware!

We must follow all the rules

To keep each other safe;

Don’t get too close to others,

And, do not touch your face!

Wash your hands.

and wash them good,

For cleanliness is key;

To insure you do not spread the bug,

To all your friends, and me.

Although I guess you are depressed,

Our lives have surely changed!

But, hopefully, it will improve,

And things will be right again.

So, as you sit in you easy chair,

feeling quite alone;

Simply remember just one thing …

We are

Alone together.
