Kimberly A. O’Sullivan-Smith, 47, of Macungie, died unexpectedly Aug. 3, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Howard Smith for 23 years. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Arthur F. O’Sullivan and the late Elizabeth A. (Kavanagh) O’Sullivan.

She was a graduate of Southern Lehigh High School, earned a BSN with honors from York College and a master’s/CRNP with honors from MCP Hahnemann University.

She worked as a nurse practitioner for Lehigh Valley Hospital in psychiatry for the last 20 years.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

She loved supporting her daughters in academics and sports, loved helping people and always made time for everyone and was an avid yoga enthusiast and instructor.

She is survived by her husband; father; daughters, Marybeth and Eve.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Aug. 13 in the Schantz Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 13 in the funeral home.
