John Herbert Wexler, 86, from Allentown, died on July 30, 2022, in the Inpatient Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late Alicia M. (O’Donnell) Wexler.

Born Aug. 13, 1935, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Bertha J. (Artopher) Wexler.

He was a clerk at Food 4 Less, Lehigh Street, for 10 years before retiring.

Before that, he worked for Hubbard Milling formerly in Fogelsville for 10 years and ALPO, South Whitehall Township, for 28 years.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

His survivors include a son, John P. Wexler and his wife, Lori, of Allentown; brother, William F. Wexler, of Allentown; grandchildren Nicholas, Elizabeth and Ryan; and great-granddaughter, Saphira.

He was predeceased by a son, Timothy Wexler, and a brother, Walter F. Wexler.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. There will be no public calling hours.
