Northampton Area Food Bank’s upcoming distribution dates are set for 5-7 p.m. Aug. 4, 11 and 18 and 9-11:30 a.m. Aug. 13 and 20.

The food bank, located at 1601 Canal St., is also open 9:30-11:30 a.m. every Wednesday for registration, inquiries, donation drop-offs and produce pickup.

Bring a picture ID with a current address or ID and a bill with the correct address. You should reside in Northampton Area School District. You will need names and birth dates of everyone living with you full time.

Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Ave., will be holding a garage sale 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Aug. 6 in the social hall. Entrance is from the back of the church, off Stewart Street.

Northampton Farmers Market continues through September. Visit Municipal Park, Smith Lane and Laubach Avenue, 3-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Aug. 10 at Northampton Banquet and Event Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors will open 11 a.m.

All members are invited to attend and asked to bring a favorite cake, cupcakes or cookies for the refreshment table and their current national and local membership cards. Those interested in joining are also welcome.

A guest speaker from the AARP Speaker’s Bureau will talk about the six pillars of brain health.

Information on bus trips will be on display.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2022-23 school year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children. Children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.

There is a registration cost and a monthly tuition cost.
