Joann F. Gregory, 57, of Emmaus, died July 30, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of John D. Gregory for 33 years. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Carolyn (Bognet) Zenon.
She was a graduate of Bloomsburg University.
She worked as a registered nurse for 36 years at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest and was the recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in March 2022.
She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.
She enjoyed gardening, walking, being outdoors, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband; son, Dr. Joshua J., of Emmaus; daughter, Kelsie and her husband, Kyle Pane, of Albrightsville; brother, Joseph Zenon and his wife, Dr. Mary, of Montana; sister, Mary Ellen and her husband, Vaughn Hoffman, of South Carolina; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Violet, of Emmaus; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Glen and Chris, of Emmaus; niece, Amanda and her husband, Matt Shramke; nephew, Dr. Kyle Hoffman and his wife, Dr. Nicole; aunts, uncles; many cousins.
Contributions may be made in her name to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) and The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Aug. 4 in The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus, 18049. Viewing will be 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the church.
