DUI
Sharon M. O’Donnell, 60, of Harrisburg, was arrested June 10 for allegedly driving under the influence and following too closely in the 100 block of West Berger Street, according to Emmaus police. O’Donnell was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.
Larry Eugene Matson Jr., 53, of Emmaus, was arrested June 25 for allegedly driving under the influence and simple possession at Cherry and Long streets, according to Emmaus police. Matson was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.
Gary Powell Jr., 37, of Center Valley, was arrested June 29 for allegedly driving under the influence, speeding and driving on the right side of a roadway at South Second Street and Landis Circle, according to Emmaus police. Powell was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.
Simple assault
Zachary Cernok, 32, of Emmaus, was arrested July 4 for alleged simple assault and harassment after an incident in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, according to Emmaus police. Cernok was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.
Fleeing/eluding police
Jeremy Paul Beil, 49, of Bethlehem, was arrested June 26 for allegedly fleeing/eluding police, reckless endangering another person, accidents involving damage to another vehicle, reckless driving, displaying an illegible registration, driving while under suspension, unauthorized transfer of registration, red light violation, driving on the right side of a roadway, turning in a center lane turn only and a stop sign violation following an incident beginning in the 500 block of Wenner Street, according to Emmaus police. Beil was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.
Theft from vehicle
A handbag and other items totaling $25 were removed from a vehicle in the 100 block of North Second Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 26.
A person siphoned $20 in gas from a vehicle parked in the unit block of East Berger Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 24.
Someone allegedly removed two catalytic converters from a Chevrolet stake body truck parked in the 300 block of Minor Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 7.
Someone allegedly removed two catalytic converters from Honda Accords parked in the 600 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 7.
Someone allegedly removed a catalytic converter, valued at $501, from a Hyundai Santa Fe parked in the 600 block of Broad Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 8.
Criminal mischief
A tire on a Honda Accord was slashed, causing $150 worth of damage, in the unit block of South Fourth Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported June 24.
Someone allegedly scratched and broke the brake lights on a Honda Civic parked in the unit block of South 10th Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 14.
Someone spray painted a Nissan Altima parked in the 100 block of South 16th Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 7.
Retail theft
Someone allegedly removed various items, with a total value of $47, from Wawa convenience store and gas station, 201 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 6.
Theft
A delivered package, valued at $92, was removed from a location in the 1000 block of Cold Stream Court, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 7.
A black Jamis mountain bicycle, valued at $300, was removed from a location in the 700 block of Chestnut Street, according to Emmaus police. The incident was reported July 13.
Found property
A Mongoose bicycle was found near Boroline Park, 554 Alpine St., July 12, according to Emmaus police. The bicycle is held at the Emmaus Police Department headquarters, 400 W. Jubilee St.
