PRESS PHOTOS BY SHARON SCHRANTZ The Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis held a dedication ceremony July 31 for its new community prayer garden. The church celebrated its 50th anniversary in September 2021 and set the garden as a goal. Included in the garden are a fountain and engraved bricks commemorating past and present church and community members. The ceremony included a butterfly release representing a new chapter in the church. ABOVE: Bricks are an integral part of the community prayer garden.
