Charles E. F. “Charlie” Bickel, 86, of Macungie, died July 25, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of the late Analdine “Dena” (DeMarco). Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Katharine A. (Flood) Bickel.

A lifelong truck driver, he was employed for various companies throughout the Lehigh Valley, last working for PCA, Trexlertown.

He was a founding member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown, a member of the Macungie VFW and a former member of The Old Time Plow Boys Club as well as The Antique Engine, Tractor and Toy Club.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen and her husband, Scott Bower, of Allentown; sons, Charles Jr., of Allentown, Michael and his wife, Lisa, of Shoemakersville, Brian and his companion, Tanya Neidlinger, of Mohrsville; a sister, Bernadette Kemmerer, of Florida; grandchildren, DJ, Mike Jr., Lee, Damian, Olivia; great-grandchildren, Bennett, Emilia, Elliana.

Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
