2022 Rose Fest

In addition to the weekly Rose Garden farmers’ market held June 25, the 2022 Rose Fest took place throughout the city park offering a variety of stands and activities. The event is coordinated by the Mount Airy Neighborhood Association with Mary Toulouse as lead organizer. “This is a place for the community,” said Toulouse, who called it a “people’s park.” In addition to the normal farmers market vendors the event offered live music, dance lessons, organizations with information about their initiatives, puppetry, caricatures, Bethlehem Police Mounted Patrol merchandise, arts and crafts for children, raffles and tours of the restored rose flower beds.
