Investigators in Pennsylvania State Police Troop M Fogelsville Station are requesting help to identify the operators of all-terrain vehicles who were driving along Interstate 78 westbound and onto Tilghman Street, Upper Macungie Township, earlier in July.
On July 7, about 8:30 p.m., approximately 40 dirt bikes, motorcycles and four wheelers merged onto Interstate 78 westbound from Pennsylvania State Route 22 where the vehicles and their drivers allegedly committed numerous summary traffic violations.
The group traveled from Interstate 78 westbound to Exit 49B (State Route 100 northbound) and onto Tilghman Street, where a two-vehicle motor vehicle crash occurred and one person was taken into custody, according to a news release from Pennsylvania State Police dated July 12.
State police are requesting assistance identifying the all-terrain vehicles and operators involved.
