An 11-year-old boy was hurt when he was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident at approximately 4:10 p.m. July 20, according to Salisbury police.
The child was struck in the 1600 block of Broadway, according to a news release dated July 21.
Salisbury police officers assisted a St. Luke’s EMS crew treating the boy at the accident scene.
The boy was then transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, for further treatment, according to authorities.
The Fountain Hill Police Department, Eastern Salisbury Fire Department and the Salisbury Township Fire Police also responded.
