Gunther “Chuck” C. Kurrasch, 53, of Whitehall, died July 22, 2022, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he was the son of Gunther F. and Linda D. (Rummel) Kurrasch of Allentown.

He was a 1986 graduate of Whitehall High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Misericordia University in 1992.

He last worked for Diamonex Inc., Fogelsville, as a computer programmer.

He was a longtime member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

He was a former member in the church’s Boy Scout Troop 32, earning his Eagle Scout Award in 1986.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Frederick R. Kurrasch of Breinigsville; an uncle, Fred Rummel of Whitehall; and two cousins, Tom and Andrea.
