The Lehigh County EMS Association will conduct Rescue Task Force training July 30 at Springhouse Middle School, South Whitehall.

Crackersport Road will be closed between Buck Trail and Springhouse roads.

Pedestrians are asked to avoid the immediate area around the school as there will be some activity outside the school.

Training will be conducted 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. and there will be police, fire, and medical vehicles in and around the school.

The training, which will focus on the integrated response that would be required between various law enforcement, fire department, and emergency medical services agencies in the area, is to better prepare first responders in the event of a mass casualty or active shooter incident.
