The Great Bath Duck Race will be taking place July 30 at Monocacy Creek Park, West Main Street.
Come to the information tent at the clock at Bath Farmers Market to get your tickets.
Tickets are also on sale around town at the Daily Grind, S. Seem Antiques, Spengler Brown Law Offices, Strudel Haus, Wunderler’s Market, Bath Exchange, My Place and Caravan Cigars.
The ducks will be released 11 a.m. by local lawyers and the sponsor this year, Spengler Brown Law Offices.
There is a large monetary prize for the winner, and follow-up winners will receive prizes, such as gift cards or other goods, donated by local businesses.
This event helps support the farmers market.

The youth group at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church will participate in an archery activity 3:30-5:30 p.m. July 31 at Archery Addictions, 400 Interchange Road., Lehighton. There is a cost.
Parents are able to join in.
Contact Pastor Paulette or the church office at 610-837-1741 to let someone know if you can attend or if you’ll need a ride.

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, will hold Vacation Bible School, with a theme titled “Knights of the North,” 5:45-9 p.m. Aug. 15-19. This is for youth from age 2 to sixth-graders.
