Edward B. Runne, 67, from Kempton, died July 7, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of Elizabeth A. (Maxwell) Runne for 16 years and the late Michele.

Born in Elizabeth, N.J., he was a son of the late Henry and Doris (Sandve) Runne.

He was a self-employed machinist.

A member of Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, Macungie, he served on church council for many years.

He was a member of the American Power Boat Association.

In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by daughters Andrea Beatty (Chris) of Hope, N.J., Laura Runne of Bangor, and Kristina Runne of Sacramento, Calif.; stepchildren Rachel Gallagher (Matthew) of Fair Haven, N.J. and Robert Bowan (Ari) of Millsboro, Del.; brothers Richard Runne (Sheri) of Runson, N.J. and John Runne (Robin) of New Bern, N.C.; grandchildren Logan, Charlotte, Aubrey, Nora, Jackson, Luke, Hannah and Ollie.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. July 30 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 2623 Brookside Road, Macungie. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m.
