Whitehall-Coplay School Board member Fady Salloum has been charged with harassment, according to court documents.

According to the docket from the office of Magisterial District Judge Todd Heffelfinger, the incident took place in May. Charges were filed by Whitehall Township police in June. The offense is listed as harassment - subject other to physical contact.

Salloum, of Whitehall, entered a not guilty plea.

The summary trial before Heffelfinger was originally scheduled for August but has been continued to Sept. 19.
