Coplay: Baseball sign-ups scheduled
Coplay Sports is holding in-person baseball sign-ups for ages 5-15 for the fall season 6-8 p.m. July 21 and noon-2 p.m. July 23 and 30 at the Coplay Sports clubhouse, 666 Potter Terrace.

Coplay’s Parkway Pool will be hosting a free swim night 6 p.m. July 21, followed by a movie night 7:30 p.m., at the pavilion at Saylor Park.
The pool will be holding a Christmas in July celebration noon-5 p.m. July 24. There is a Dip-N-Dance planned.
The July pool hours are noon-8 p.m., and the August pool hours are set for noon-7 p.m.
The popular Aqua Zumba classes are held 6-7 p.m. every Monday and Wednesday.

St. John’s Lutheran Church is planning its annual summer picnic July 24 at the Coplay Parkway pavilion.
The event begins with an outdoor church service 11 a.m., followed by lunch and picnic fun.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., will hold its 68th annual picnic noon-9 p.m. Aug. 7.
The event will feature food, beverages, adult drinks, kids’ games and more. Entertainment will be by Emil Schanta Band and Flirtin’ with the Mob.
Bring your lawn chairs.

The Coplay Scholarship Fund Committee’s 2022 scholarship program is accepting applications for two $500 scholarships for high school seniors residing in Coplay who plan to attend a college, university, technical school or police academy.
