Sharon A. (Handwerk) Hardenberg, 78, of Schnecksville, died July 6, 2022, in her home.

She and her husband, Gene L. Hardenberg, were married 53 years.

Born June 1, 1944, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late David F. Handwerk and Mildred I. (Heil) Hand-werk Loux.

She was the office manager and estate administrator at Steckel and Stopp Law Office, Slatington, for 30 years before retiring in 2008.

She was past president of the former Slatington Junior Women’s Club and Northern Lehigh JC Wives, and a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Allentown.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a son Jonathan J. Hardenberg of Schnecksville; stepsister Suzie Loux Quido of Georgia; and grandchildren Paige and Tanner.
