Lorena Patrice Lauer, 19, of Stroudsburg, died July 9, 2022, in St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem, from injuries she sustained in an accident.

Born May 15, 2003 in Guatemala, she was the daughter of Danny G. Lauer and Patrice A. Mulqueen with whom she resided.

A 2021 graduate of Pocono Mountain East, she was currently a sophomore at Northampton Community College studying early childhood education.

She was a lifeguard at Camp Pocono Trails.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Congregational Church, Bartonsville.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by siblings Jesica Lauer and Brian D. Mulqueen, both residing at home, Matthew J. Mulqueen, U.S. Army in Kansas; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Ginger Miller of Hanover.

A celebration of her life will take place 3 p.m. July 16 at St. John’s Evangelical Congregational Church, 6014 Custard Road, Bartonsville, with Pastor Paul Miller officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 2-3 p.m. Saturday in the church. Immediately following the service, there will be a time of fellowship, and refreshments will be served.
