Carolyn J. Shoemaker, 78, of Allentown, died July 10, 2022, in Above and Beyond at the Knights, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Gerald N. Shoemaker.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Donald R. and Martha E. (Deutsch) Christman.

She was a member of Walnutport Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Before retiring from First Student Transportation, she was a secretary in the Financial Aid Office of Lehigh Carbon Community College, drove school bus and was a custodian for the Parkland School District.

She will be remembered for her love of her pet Dobermans and cats.

Her survivors include son Daniel P. and his wife, Karen, of Allentown; grandsons Jeffrey A. and Matthew D.; and niece Tracey L.

She was predeceased by her brother James E.

Private services will be held at Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
