Joseph J. Casciotti Jr., 70, formerly of Catasauqua, died July 5, 2022, at Jefferson Health-Northeast Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Danko) Casciotti for 49 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Joseph J. Sr. and Edith I. (Kohler) Casciotti.

He worked for the family business, Cassie’s Sunoco. He was a supervisor for Inventory Control Systems. After retiring, he worked for Top Star, South Whitehall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Joseph E. and wife Laura; a daughter, Angie Scharper and husband Aaron; a brother, Michael Casciotti and wife Lisa; six grandchildren, Sophie, Emma and Maria Casciotti and Ella, Cecilia and Berklee Scharper; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a visitation 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., July 21 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.
