Joseph F. Windish Sr., 98, of Macungie, died July 7, 2022, at Willow Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Kutztown. He was the husband of the late Beulah S. (Erb) Windish. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Kroboth) Windish.
He was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally.
Before retiring, he worked at the former Boyertown Body Works for many years.
He was a former member of Pikeville Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed hunting.
He will be remembered for his love of gardening and playing softball for the Fredericksville Tigers.
He is survived by sons, Joseph F. Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Lenhartsville, Jeffrey A. and his wife, Cindy, of Mertztown; daughters, Nancy L. Miller, of Boyertown, Constance J. and her husband, Joseph Szilli, of Macungie, Linda S., of Topton, Kathleen M. Balsavage and her companion, Mark Pienta, of Pottstown, Patricia A. and her husband, Stephen Hayden, of Macungie, Mary Alice and her husband, William Ryan, of Henniker, N.H.; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. July 13 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine St., Bally. Calling will be held 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
