Francis “Fritz” W. Miller, 91, of Bethlehem and formerly Naples, Fla., died July 3, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Elsie J. (Schrampf) Miller for 62 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Anthony and Lottie (Diehl) Miller.

He graduated as the 1948 class president from Catasauqua High School.

He was in the U.S. Coast Guard.

He created several large housing developments throughout the Lehigh Valley and constructed more than 1,000 homes. He built and operated the former Olde World Inn restaurant.

He served on the board of directors of the First National Bank of Bath for 17 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Lisa Miller Fox and husband Michael; a son, David and wife Debra; three grandchildren, Alexander DeNagy and partner Lyall Glait, Katie Miller and Ross Miller; and two stepgranddaughters, Kate and Emma Fox.

He was predeceased by a sister, Betty Miller.

There will be a calling hour 10-11 a.m., followed by memorial services 11 a.m., July 16 at the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
