Chrissy Lambert, a wildlife science trainee from Hawk Mountain, will talk about wildlife management, with a focus on birds, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Kalmbach Park, 200 Cotton St. Macungie. Lehigh Valley Passport to History Month will celebrate local history, stories and the community that brings Lehigh Valley history to life. The event gives an opportunity for visitors to explore local history through a variety of museum tours, interactive exhibits, children’s activities and more. The 1803 House, 55 S. Keystone Ave., will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. That same weekend several sites will also be open the same times ... Alburtis Lockridge Historical Society, 407 Franklin St., Alburtis; Emmaus Historical Society, 218 Main St., Emmaus; Knauss Homestead Farmhouse, 152 E. Main St., Emmaus; Lower Macungie Township Historical Society, 3120 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus and Shelter House, 601 S. Fourth St., Emmaus. The Emmaus Historical Society Museum will be open both days 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for self-guided tours. A Main Street historical tour will be held noon July 24. Coopersburg Historical Society, 5 N. Main St., Second Floor, Coopersburg will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of Lehigh Valley Passport to History Month.

Milford Park Ladies Day begins 10 a.m. at Milford Park Bible Camp, 6451 Chestnut St., Zionsville. Diane Purdin will speak and a catered lunch will be held noon. There is a cost for the luncheon and tickets must be purchased in advance. To purchase tickets call 484-300-9269.

Church of the Good Shepherd UCC, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, will host a dedication ceremony for its new community prayer garden. The event begins 11 a.m. and will include a butterfly release. The garden is funded and paved with engraved bricks commemorating past and current church and community members.
