Barry A. Deifer, 66, of Coplay, died July 8, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Raymond W. and Virginia (Hock) Deifer.

He was a 1974 graduate of Whitehall High School.

He worked for many years at Mack Trucks, Allentown.

He was a trustee for the West Catasauqua firehall. He was a guitar player who played in several bands.

He is survived by two brothers, Donald Deifer and wife Shirley of North Carolina and Gerald Deifer and wife Jenny of Coplay; nieces; nephews; and friends.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Ronald, Richard and Robert.

There will be a viewing 10-11 a.m., followed by a funeral service 11 a.m., July 15 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay.
