Daniel “Dutch” David Diefenderfer, 71, died peacefully July 3, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late William and Viola (Erdman) Diefenderfer. He was the husband of the late Diana Diefenderfer.

He was a vocalist and played harmonica for his bands, Dutch’s Basement Blues Band and Dutchman and Roman, throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond.

He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Butterbaugh of Center Valley; a grandson, Christopher Butterbaugh as well as his bandmates and many friends.
