Help turn tongues blue for the 35th Annual Blueberry Festival on July 16th and 17th, hosted by Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites. Two shifts per day are available and volunteers get a t-shirt and free piece of pie or ice cream scoop. Help make a visit to the Lehigh Valley Zoo an experience for our guests to remember for a lifetime! Whether volunteering as a Docent, Crafts & Activities volunteer, Zoo Clean team member, or in one of our other volunteer positions, you are helping our Zoo in Schnecksville further our mission of conservation and education. Museum guides help bring our region’s history to life for visitors and aid their interaction with museum exhibits. The National Canal Museum in Easton is seeking friendly, enthusiastic volunteers to serve as museum docents/guides who are comfortable speaking with individuals and groups and able to work on the exhibit floor for up to four consecutive hours. Training and reading materials provided. Shifts available 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Minimum age 16. Strong volunteers needed to help unload the truck from Sam’s Club from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at The Whole Life Center in Easton. Weigh each box, put food in freezers or fridges, then reload the remaining boxes back onto the truck for delivery to other pantries and shelters.
