Several baking contests were held during the Schnecksville Community Fair, June 21-25.
The first was the PA Preferred Youth Baking Contest for Cookie, Brownies and Bars.
Though only two entries were submitted, it was still a challenge for Judges Kathy King, Alicia Levan and Daria Greb.
When it was all tasted and done, Benjamin Weslosky, 10, of Schnecksville, won first place with his Magic Caramel Bars.
Second place went to Hailey Heleva, 12, for her Red Velvet Oreo Truffle Brownie Bars.
She is also from Schnecksville.
