Ruth C. (Hohe) Lichtenwalner, 98, formerly of Cetronia, died peacefully June 29, 2022, in Above and Beyond at the Knights, Allentown.
She was the wife of the late Ernest C. Lichtenwalner.
Born Dec. 15, 1923, in Center Valley, she was the daughter of the late Harry Hohe and the late Catherine (Beck) Hohe Lutz and her husband Alfred Lutz Sr.
She was a food service worker in the Parkland School District for many years before retiring.
She was a member of the Cetronia Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Cedar Church, Cetronia, where she was a Sunday School teacher and served on the altar guild.
Her survivors include children Nancy L., wife of L. Thomas Kern, Diana R., wife of David W. Haines, and Glenn E. Lichtenwalner and his wife, Audrey K., all of Schnecksville; grandchildren Todd, Jason, Natasha, Phillip and Megan; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Elizabeth, Abigail and Mason.
She was predeceased by siblings Elizabeth Nester, Gertrude Hunsberger and Alfred Lutz Jr.
A private funeral service will be held at Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
There will be no public calling hours. Private interment will take place at Cedar Union Cemetery, South Whitehall.
