Charles J. Forker, 74, of Slatington, died peacefully June 30, 2022, surrounded by his loving family in his home.
He and his wife, Dawn M. (Walz) Forker, were married 49 years.
Born April 4, 1948, in Easton, Northampton County, he was the son of the late Nicholas P. and Rosamond (Zimmerman) Forker.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was an injection mold operator at B. Braun, Allentown, for 25 years before retiring in 2014.
He enjoyed bowling and was a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Stephanie L. German of Slatington, Brandy M. Forker of Reading, Charles J. Forker II and his wife, Jennifer, of Slatington, and Jason J. Forker of Slatington; brother David K. Forker of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Wilkerson.
His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.
