Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a homicide in Lehigh Township.

Sixty-seven-year-old Michael Austin Powers was found dead in a residence on Lower Three Mile Lane the evening of June 29.

His death was ruled a homicide. No further details were available as of press time. The Northampton County coroner is not releasing the cause of death due to the ongoing investigation.

The Troop M Major Case Team is leading the homicide investigation with assistance from the Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Lehigh Township Police Department, Northampton County District Attorney’s Office and Northampton County Coroner’s Office.
