Francis A. Balog, 91, of Northampton, died June 29, 2022, at Sacred Heart Senior Living.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stanley P. and Adela (Noga) Frederick.

She was a secretary for AT&T and later a layout operator for Lucent. She retired in 1993 after 33 years of employment.

She was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, until it closed. She was currently a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She was a member of the Lucent Pioneers, where she was on the board and volunteered for other tasks. She volunteered for 11 years at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was a member of the Friendly Fifties, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Michael T. Jr. of Georgia.
