It’s funny the connections you come across when you meet people. I recently discovered a teammate of Ben’s is the nephew of a friend. When I spoke to his mother, she asked how I met her sister. That was another interesting story. When I home-schooled Ben, we made weekly trips to the library. Being friendly and talkative, Ben often discussed roller coasters, his passion, with one of the library employees. She told us how her son also liked roller coasters. Later on we realized Ben and her son were both Scouts in the same pack. It’s a small world!
