Children, teens and adults are invited to join our summer reading challenge - Oceans of Possibilities.

As you complete an activity, you will receive a raffle ticket to win a gift basket. The drawings will be noon on the last day of the challenge, Aug. 13.

There will be storytime and crafts with Miss Brenda 11 a.m. July 7, 11, 18 and 25.

Sign up on the library website, coplaypubliclibrary.org, or Facebook page, so we have enough materials ready.

Events at the library will be posted on the website’s events calendar and Facebook page as they are finalized.

Stop by the library to design your own treasure chest. The library will provide materials - just bring your imagination.

If anyone has empty shoe boxes, we are glad to take them off your hands for a craft idea for the summer. You may drop them off at the library during open hours.

Our library participates in the Amazon Smile program. Whenever you shop on Amazon, the program will donate 0.5% of the cost of your eligible purchases to the library. It is an easy, convenient way to contribute to the library with no added cost to you.

If you are vaccinated, you no longer need to wear a mask in the library. If you are not vaccinated, continue to wear a mask for your safety and the safety of others.

We also encourage maintaining social distancing to ensure safety.

Summer hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.

Regular hours will return Aug. 29.
