Barbara K. Shipe, 69, of North Catasauqua, died June 26, 2022. She was the wife of Robert F. Shipe Jr. for 46 years.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. Sr. and Shirley A. (Schroeder) Buss.

She was a medical assistant and office manager for Medical Associates of the Lehigh Valley for many years. She retired in 2015.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert F. III and Benjamin P. with Jordan Kratochvil and grandson Max, all of North Catasauqua; a brother, Robert J. Buss II of East Catasauqua; a nephew, Jesse T. Buss with fiancee Briley Decker; a niece, Libby A. Buss; a sister-in-law, Judith L. Buss of Bethlehem; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

She was predeceased by a brother, Thomas P. Buss.
