Alfred A. Birosik, 89, of Northampton, died June 25, 2022, at Fellowship Community, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Patricia (Pordos) Birosik.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John M. and Mary (Bechtel) Birosik.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army in artillery.
He was a Bethlehem Business School graduate.
He was a pattern clerk at Bridesburg Foundrey for more than 33 years until he retired in 1995. He was then an auto parts runner and assistant for Harhart’s Gulf Service station and worked for the former Was-Den gunsmithing, both in Northampton.
He was the eldest and longest active member of Lappawinzo Fish and Game Protective Association, Allen Township, with 63 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 470, Bath, and of the Raccoon Club, East Allen Township.
He is survived by two daughters, Maryann and her husband Gregory Morey with whom he resided and Margaret and her husband Craig Peoples of Allentown; a son, Michael and his wife Barbara of New Ringgold; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Keiser and Cecilia Megrey; and four brothers, Edward, William, John and Albert.
