Fourth of July, Allentown: Start the week with July 4th celebrations. The celebrations and events are numerous in the Lehigh Valley. In Allentown, the Fourth of July Celebration is 5 - 10 p.m. July 4 at J. Birney Crum Stadium, with free entrance to performances and fireworks. The event is a “Red, White, and Blue” day of family fun with live music, entertainment and food. There will be patriotic items given away at gate entrances. The night is capped by a fireworks display scheduled at 9:20 p.m. And, if you find the right vantage point, you can also see the fireworks show scheduled at 9 p.m. at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom.
